Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn McKay, born into the Mormon Church's First Family, used her literary talent and research abilities to create the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title"No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith who was the founder of The Church of Latter-Day Saints. The preacher shocked the audience when he said declaring: "You don't even know my name. It's been a long time since you've seen my heart." Nobody has known about my past. I'm not able to tell my story. The 29-year-old wrote Fawn: Since that moment of candor more than three writers have jumped on the gauntlet. The documents do not lack, they just contradict each other. The process of assembling these documents, sorting through third- and first-hand sources, fitting Mormons' narratives to those of non-Mormons into a true historical context - can be a challenge. It is both interesting as well as fascinating. FawnBrodie dedicated herself to this career path. Thaddeus Stevens. Stevens is immortalized in her works and the fruit of her study. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate history (1974) The posthumous.
