Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actor best known for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with the disease of Polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl claims that at one point when her mother stabbed her father after he became intimate with her. Sheryl joined up the military soon after she graduated college. She was interested in comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She started her TV profession in the year 1992, when she became a regular performer for the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Since 2011, she has been co-hosting the talk show. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
