Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a child in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of goals. The mother of her children was a film buff and was able to instill an interest in films in the young girl. Paula became involved in many co-curricular activities in school and had a particular interest in dramatics. She enjoyed acting in stage plays along with her peers. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as her career. She was in The University of Southern Cal's Summer program and enjoyed tremendously. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. After completing her assignment then she began putting together documentary films. Although she enjoyed her career but she always dreamed of being an actor. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a tiny part with Will Smith. She has appeared since in a variety of films and television shows.
