Laura Vandervoort

She first made an appearance an actor in 1997 at age 13. In 1997, Vandervoort made her debut on stage as an actor at age 13. After completing several classes as well as background work on Canadian series like Road to Avonlea or Harriet the Spy she was offered a speaking role in the Canadian kids horror anthology Goosebumps. There were commercials too as and guest appearances in films like Mutant X and Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story. Goosebumps was also element of her work. Vandervoort's debut film, The Lookout, was launched in 2006. The film starred Jeff Daniels along with Matthew Goode and Isla Fischer. Vandervoort's first television appearance was on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In the following season, she was cast in the role as Clark Kent's Kryptonian Cousin "Kara Kent", (the woman who was later to become Supergirl) as part of The CW serial-drama Smallville. In the seasons 7 and 8 were in the form of a regular on the season, "Bloodline". 3. In the tenth season and final episode Smallville, she returned to the show for two further episodes. Following The CW, Vandervoort shot the sequel of the film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2 : The Reef. The Jazzman was her next independent film.
