Ky-ManiKy-mani Marley who is close to completing his third album untitled, is certainly a major star. In February of 1976, Ky-mani Marley was born to legendary Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champ, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". A man who lives up his title, each album or travel experience is an adventure. The journey of his musical career started in 1999 when he released The Journey. With an eclectic vision he sought out his uniqueness and travelled the spectrum of music to discover his numerous talent. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that won a Grammy Award in 2001, revealed a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent artist. Ky-Mani's style is a mix of roots reggae overlaid along with hip hop, R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
